 James M. McCracken's love for writing began when he was a teenager in high school.  He began writing stories for his own enjoyment, for his eyes only.  Years later, he shared one of his dreams with a co-worker.  She urged him to "write it down.  It would make a great story."  So he did and he shared it with her.  After receiving positive encouragement, his love was rekindled.
Mr. McCracken is a longtime member of a writers group, Becoming Fiction. He currently resides in Central Oregon.
