Michael Andrew bIRD hUFF
JUNE 5, 1944 - MAY 5, 2015
Michael Andrew Huff was born on June 5, 1944, the first of two sons born to Andrew and Katherine (Jones) Huff. Over the course of his early life he moved with his family around the world while his father served in the U.S. Navy.
In 1966, Michael married Virginia Chumley and the two had a daughter, Micholine No'el Huff. Sadly the marriage ended.
In 1977, Michael had another daughter, Crystal Star Huff, with his then wife. That marriage also ended.
As an adult, Michael continued to move around the country. He spent a year living outside Heppner, Oregon living on the Huff family's homestead in the Blue Mountains. Eventually he moved to California where he settled in Yuba City. He became an active member of the Rainbow Family where he was known as "Michael Bird." He lived a simple but happy life.
On May 5, 2015, while enjoying the sunrise from the front porch of his home, Michael passed away. He was 70 years old.
His body was returned to Hillsboro, Oregon where he was interred near his brother Patrick at Fir Lawn Cemetery.
