Harrison Andrews is a middle-aged, paper-pushing drone in a large company in Portland, Oregon. His life so far has been rather mundane and routine, centered around his job and 'being there' for his younger, attorney sister, Danika. Even though she lives with her police chief husband of nine years and two young sons on the other side of the country, Harrison can't quite seem to move on with his life. Aside from his cat, Col. Mustard, who barely tolerates him, and his roommate Thomas Unger, Harrison keeps mainly to himself.
That is about to change.
Thomas left on a road trip down the Oregon Coast to visit his mother in San Diego. He's done it before, many times in fact, so not to worry. However, when Mrs. Unger calls questioning where Thomas is, Harrison becomes worried. Calls to Thomas' cell phone go unanswered and unreturned. Following the advice of a coworker, Harrison goes to the police only to be turned away, so he decides to go looking for his friend on his own.
Harrison's search brings him to the small coastal town of Ellensburg where he encounters a backwoods family who seem to show up everywhere, a corrupt police department and a couple willing to risk everything to help him.
Stay tuned for more information about the release of Ellensburg.
