I've been busy these last few weeks.  I've been working on going though a new publisher for my Charlie MacCready series.  I just finished submitting CMC The Ghost In The Attic and am waiting for the proof copy.  I'm working on editing the manuscript for CMC Shadows In The Dark and will be submitting it before the end of the month.  CMC Sirens In The Night is still in the works.  I'm hoping the I'll have something done by the end of January.

My eBook sales are continuing.  I'm very pleased with the numbers.  Thank you to all who have purchased a copy.

I'm still working away on Charlie MacCready Sirens In The Night.  It's good to get back to the boys.

I've returned to working on Charlie MacCready Sirens In The Night.   A lot is happening in this 3rd installment.  Some things to expect: 

There's a bit of a shake up at St. Michael's Abbey for starters.  No one saw it coming.  So, it is a huge shock. 

We find out the answer to one of the major mysteries of the series.

We also say good-bye to one of the boys.

And did I mention that someone is trying to burn the Abbey down?

I'm pleased to announce the new release of my book: SECRETS The Wallace Family.

It is now available as an eBook at Smashwords.com (visit the webpage above for link).
It took me longer than I expected to complete the manuscript but at last it is here.  It
feels great!  The paperback re-release is coming soon.  At this point it will retain the
original cover art.  The entire story has been re-edited, some loose ends tightened
up, and some story lines clarified.  I am very pleased with the results.

Some other clarifications:  The story is set in Bend, Oregon with references to some
actual locations.  I feel this helps to ground the story and make it feel more 'real'.  It
is a work of fiction, inspired by a dream.  I hope you enjoy it.

So, I missed my self-imposed deadline for formatting and editing Secrets.  While it is formatted, the editing is taking a bit longer.  Especially when I am called away to deal with other things like deer attacking my poor little trees in my front yard!  The buck tore off all the lower branches (which I was going to prune off anyway, just not now) and rubbed off the bark on one side of two of them.  So, that took me away from writing since I had to buy some fencing and wrap it around six trees!  Love the deer, but wish they wouldn't hurt my trees.

This week I'm back to writing - working on Secrets.  I really need to focus and get that manuscript finished before I work on editing another.  I "wasted" a lot of time today on the second manuscript because an editor friend gave me some pointers and notes on what I need to change.  Focus!  Focus!  Focus!

Tomorrow I'll be back to working on Secrets.  I am giving myself until the end of the week to finish it.  Will keep you posted.

Well, today was quite the day.  Spent the morning working on SECRETS...only three more chapters to reformat and proof.  The end is in sight.  However, after proofing 20 pages, I'm no closer to the end than I was when I started...how's that?

Good news!  My webpage hits have increased considerably.  People are checking out my latest "The Millionth Year" and it is heading to be my No. 1 Bestseller!  That is exciting!

Took a break last night to go to a bbq with some friends.  I didn't neglect my writing.  Worked through another chapter in Secrets.

Today am making some good progress.  I can see the finish line!
I do fear that I may not be finished with this family anytime soon as I will be moving into Secrets And Lies, the sequel.  We shall see.

Productive last two days.  I'm now over half way finished with eBook edition of Secrets The Wallace Family.  I hope to have it completed soon.  (It will also be made available in a new paperback edition.)  Then I have to decide on a new cover for the book.  Hoping for the release of the eBook by the end of next week, but not cast in stone.  Keep watching for more details.
